About me

Hi, I’m Nico.

I work on my own software projects under the name Poser.py. I’m interested in turning an idea into an application people can understand: with a clear interface, a reliable technical foundation and room for improvement. My projects range from a Python learning platform to an app for care workers.

Haan, Deutschland Nico Poser
  • Web and app development

I work on interfaces, APIs and databases. Depending on the task, I use tools such as Python, TypeScript, React, Kotlin or C#.

  • Releases and updates

Development also involves installation, deployment and updates. I take the requirements of browsers, Android and Windows into account.

  • Multilingual applications

Languages are an important part of my learning projects. I work on translatable interfaces and ways to maintain content in several languages.

  • Ongoing maintenance

Work continues after the first version: fixing bugs, listening to feedback and improving features. Some projects also involve subscriptions and payment flows.

How I work

From an idea to the next version

Requirements differ from project to project. These steps help me clarify the task, try solutions and develop the application further.

  1. Step 01

    Understand the task

First, I establish who the application is for and what it needs to do. A simple design helps us discuss the main workflows.

  2. Step 02

    Build a first version

I implement the core features and connect the interface, APIs and data storage. A focused first version makes it easier to test assumptions early.

  3. Step 03

    Test and refine

I check workflows on the intended devices and in the browser, paying attention to usability, error handling and technical reliability.

  4. Step 04

    Make it available

I prepare the website or app and its supporting information for release. The right approach depends on the platform and the project.

  5. Step 05

    Keep improving

Feedback and everyday use show where improvements are needed. These lead to bug fixes, adjustments and further features.
